DFC Fly Tying Classes

- All experience levels are welcome!

     Our beginning fly tying classes offers members new to the sport a chance to learn the basics to get started in Fly tying as. The typical class is made up of 6 sessions to allow the participants to learn tools and techniques utilizing a hands-on approach to learning. The club provides materials for all the patterns tied and can loan the tools to members who don't already have them. This class is offered several times a year and will prepare the participants for most of the patterns used in the area.
     There are also advanced classes or monthly tying sessions held when there is enough interest. These sessions focus on the flies used locally or to get your fly box ready for an upcoming outing.
